Victoria Holland Architecture was recently granted a Planning Consent for a conversion of a barn into a residential dwelling together with the erection of a garage in Surrey. The intention is to keep and reuse the existing structural framework and to retain its current form and outline within the landscape. The oak cladding to the dwelling is designed to appear naturalistic and to weather to blend with the rural landscape. The windows are designed as simple openings which from the inside will seamlessly frame the landscape.
