Planning consent has just been granted for demolition of an existing dwelling on Spinney Lane, Itchenor near Chichester and the construction of a new family house with replacement outdoor swimming pool, changing facilities, terrace and garage. The replacement house will maintain the same orientation as the existing dwelling and take into account views across the harbour. The emphasis will be on sustainability and energy efficiency with a building which responds sympathetically to the local vernacular.
